Islamabad police arrest Sanam Javed

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad police on Sunday arrested prominent Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activist Sanam Javed.

Sanam Javed was initially arrested under a case filed by the FIA for cybercrime-related activities on May 9, when she allegedly encouraged people to gather at the Corps Commander House.

Following the court’s decision to release her, Islamabad Police detained her in another case.

Earlier today, Sanam Javed was released from jail after an Islamabad court dismissed a case against her filed by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).

Following the release orders, PTI lawyers swiftly escorted Sanam and her family.
