Islamabad police deploy over 7,000 personnel for Eidul Azha security

Islamabad Police made extensive security arrangements across the capital for Eidul Azha prayers, with more than 7,000 officers deployed to ensure public safety, a police spokesperson said.
According to the spokesperson, the largest Eid congregation in the city was held at Faisal Mosque, where heightened security measures were put in place. The spokesperson said security operations were being monitored through Safe City cameras and modern surveillance technology to maintain strict vigilance at prayer venues and public areas.
Inspector General of Islamabad Police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi was personally overseeing all security arrangements, the spokesperson added.
The police chief also extended heartfelt Eid greetings to citizens and police personnel, expressing hope that “May Allah always keep Pakistan a cradle of peace, stability and prosperity.”
