Islamabad’s F-10/1 altercation captured on video; police say incident stems from family dispute

ISLAMABAD: A video circulating on social media showed a physical altercation in Islamabad’s Sector F-10/1 in which multiple individuals, including women, were involved in a confrontation outside a residential property.

The footage showed two men and two women initially gathered near a house boundary wall, apparently attempting to open the main gate. The situation escalated when individuals from inside the residence came out, leading to a physical dispute between the parties.

In the video, a man in a blue shirt is seen striking one of the women, while another woman is also harmed during the confrontation. The incident further intensified as additional individuals joined the altercation, and bystanders attempted to intervene.

According to reports, the women involved have submitted an application at Shalimar Police Station seeking registration of a case. They are also expected to hold a press conference at the National Press Club, where they will raise concerns regarding delays in the registration of the case and demand legal action.

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Islamabad Police stated that the incident appears to be a domestic dispute between family members, and legal proceedings are currently underway.
