Jahangir Khan honoured among greatest sportsmen of millennium by UN

ISLAMABAD: Pakistani squash icon Jahangir Khan has been included among the best sportsmen in the last 1000 years.

The United Nations included Pakistani squash legend Jahangir Khan in the list of the best players of 1000 years.

Jahangir Khan entered the Guinness Book of World Records by winning 550 consecutive matches during his squash career. Along with this, he remained undefeated for five years and won all the competitions.

The Pakistani squash legend won the world title six times and also won the British Open championship 10 times. He has got recognition in the world as the greatest player of Pakistan and the greatest player of the country.

In squash, Jahangir Khan won the World Open from 1981 to 1985 and again in 1988.
