Jessi Draper has scored a legal win in her ongoing split from Jordan Ngatikaura after his request for a temporary restraining order against her was denied.
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star had filed for the order last week as part of their divorce proceedings, with Draper, 33, quickly pushing back by filing an opposition the same day.
The court’s decision marks the latest twist in the couple’s increasingly public breakup, which surfaced just days earlier when Ngatikaura filed for divorce.
The pair, who have been married for five years, share two young children, son Jagger, 5, and daughter Jovi, 3.
In a statement following the split, Ngatikaura acknowledged the difficulty of the decision, saying his focus remains on their children.
“While our paths are now moving in different directions, my priority remains my children and ensuring they feel loved, supported and protected through this transition,” he said.
The relationship had reportedly been strained for some time, with multiple separations leading up to the divorce filing.
Draper had previously spoken about the challenges in their marriage, alleging emotional abuse in a 2025 interview while discussing her involvement in an emotional affair.
“It starts off slow,” she said at the time. “It’s little behaviours over time, and then all of a sudden you realise how deep you are in it.”
Their split is the latest in a string of controversies surrounding the Hulu reality series.
Production on season five has reportedly been paused amid an investigation into co-star Taylor Frankie Paul over alleged domestic violence involving her former partner.
Several cast members, including Draper, are said to have refused to film alongside Paul as the situation continues.
The denied restraining order adds another layer to the ongoing drama surrounding the show, as Draper and Ngatikaura navigate their separation in the spotlight.
