The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Jessi Draper’s marriage has come to an end, after her husband Jordan Ngatikaura filed for divorce following months of public fallout.
According to Utah court records, Jordan filed for divorce after five years of marriage, just months after Draper admitted to having an emotional affair.
In a statement, Jordan described the decision as difficult but necessary. “This has not been an easy decision and it comes with a heavy heart,” he said. “I’m grateful for the shared memories and the lessons.”
He added that his focus is now on their children. “My priority remains my children and ensuring they feel loved, supported, and protected through this transition.”
The couple share two young children together, while Jordan also has a daughter from a previous relationship.
Draper has not publicly commented on the divorce.
The split follows a turbulent period that had already played out in the public eye. Draper previously revealed she had an emotional affair with Vanderpump Villa star Marciano Brunette, a revelation that put their marriage under intense scrutiny.
Despite the fallout, the pair had appeared to be working towards reconciliation. Draper said earlier this month that therapy and a previous 90-day separation had “helped a lot”, describing the relationship as a “work in progress”.
She also admitted that both sides had made mistakes, pointing to her affair and what she described as a “toxic dynamic” within the marriage.
Jordan, in earlier comments, had also acknowledged his role in the breakdown of the relationship, saying he had taken responsibility for the pain caused during their marriage.
However, those efforts were not enough to repair the relationship.
The divorce now marks a dramatic end to a marriage that had already been under the spotlight, adding to ongoing attention surrounding the reality series and its cast.
