KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi chief Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman on Sunday criticized proponents of the two-state solution for the Palestine issue, asserting that regardless of one’s power, be it a prime minister or a commander-in-chief, there is no two-state solution. He emphasized that there is only one state – the free state of Palestine.
The Jamaat-e-Islami organized a “Gaza Million March” on Shahrah-e-Faisal in Karachi, drawing a significant turnout of women, children, and youth.
Addressing the Gaza Million March, Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman accused Pakistani rulers of not supporting Palestinians and condemned their failure to denounce Israel and America, branding them as puppets and stooges of America. He called for Muslims and Pakistanis to recognize these alleged traitors and expel them from their rank and file.
Rehman reiterated that there is no two-state solution, only the free state of Palestine, and denounced Israel as an impure existence, echoing the sentiments of Quaid-e-Azam. He warned against any relations with Israel, emphasizing the nation’s rejection of its legitimacy.
He declared a commitment to safeguarding the blood of Palestinians, vowing to fight and defeat anyone attempting to trade or betray it. He praised South Africa for filing a case in the International Court of Justice on behalf of humanity.
Expressing solidarity, Naeem-ur-Rehman encouraged actions like boycotting Israeli products and chanting slogans against Israel and America. He paid tribute to the resilience of Hamas, noting their victory over Israel on October 7 and their destruction of Israeli technology.
Naeem-ur-Rehman concluded by saluting the patience and courage of Hamas amid Israel’s attacks on children, women, houses, and places of worship.
