PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) President for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and party lawmaker in the National Assembly Junaid Akbar has called the restrictions on PTI’s founder and former prime minister Imran Khan completely unjust and said if the government takes one step forward, they are ready to take two.

Talking to the media, he said the government is continuously disqualifying PTI MNAs and not allowing meetings with the party’s founder for 29 days is clear injustice.

He added that banning political activities and stopping them from speaking in the Assembly is unacceptable Their speeches are not aired on media and political activities in Punjab, Sindh, and Balochistan have been blocked.

Junaid Akbar said ignoring public opinion is harmful for institutions He pointed out that 70 to 80 percent of the youth support the founder and the gap between the state and the people is widening.

He also said institutions will only be strong when the people are with them and highlighted that on February 8 they fully exercised their voting rights.
