Justice Alia Neelum becomes first female judge to head Lahore High Court

LAHORE: The Judicial Commission of Pakistan (JCP) has recommended JusticeAlia Neelum’s name for the position of the next Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court (LHC).

Earlier today,  The Judicial Commission of Pakistan, chaired by Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa, convened today to deliberate on the appointments of permanent Chief Justices for the Lahore High Court and the Sindh High Court.
