Los Angeles, April 6: Hollywood star Keanu Reeves shared his advice for actors trying to make it in the film industry, emphasizing respect and humility.
During an interview with E! News, while promoting his new film Outcome with Cameron Diaz and Matt Bomer, Reeves said, “Go to work and respect who you’re working with until they prove they don’t get your respect.”
Diaz agreed, saying this advice applies beyond Hollywood. “Yeah. That’s life,” she added. She also pointed out that fame is unpredictable: “There’s no handbook or manual on being famous. You gotta just make it your own—you don’t know what it’s gonna be.”
Bomer added that friends help keep you grounded. “If you’re lucky like Reef, surround yourself with friends who knew you before. They’ll be there through the ups and downs,” he said.
Outcome stars Reeves as Reef Hawke, a man facing his past amid a blackmail plot. The film reunites Reeves and Diaz, who previously starred together in Feeling Minnesota (1996), and premieres on Apple TV+ on April 10.
