Kohat, Malakand boards announce intermediate annual exam results 2026

The Kohat and Malakand boards of intermediate and secondary education have announced the results of the intermediate annual examinations 2026.

Oxford Science School and College Karak student Hadia Tariq secured the overall first position with 1,142 marks.

According to the Kohat Board, Cadet College Kohat student Muhammad Waleed Yousaf secured the second position with 1,136 marks, while his college mate Muhammad Thaaban stood third with 1,132 marks.

In the Pre-Engineering group, Cadet College Kohat students Muhammad Habil and Umar Zahid Khan jointly secured the first position with 1,122 marks each.

In the General Science group, Muhammad Waleed Yousaf secured the first position with 1,136 marks.

A total of 54,224 candidates appeared in the Kohat Board’s intermediate annual examinations 2026, of whom 15,862 candidates passed.

The overall pass percentage remained at 29.25 per cent.

Malakand Board announces intermediate results

Meanwhile, the Malakand Board also announced the results of the intermediate annual examinations, with female students from private colleges securing most of the top positions.

Of the 12 position holders, 10 are female students and two are male students.

Private college student Aimana Malik secured the first position with 1,133 marks.

A private college student secured the second position with 1,132 marks, while Salwa Iqbal, also from a private college, stood third with 1,118 marks.

The strong performance of female students was a notable feature of the Malakand Board results, with women securing 10 of the 12 positions.

Board officials congratulated the position holders, while students and educational institutions expressed satisfaction over their results.
