KP assembly passes resolution to increase age limit for PMS exam

PESHAWAR: On Thursday, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) assembly passed resolutions to raise the age limit for the Provincial Management Service (PMS) from 30 years to up to 37 years.
The resolution presented by MPA Shafiullah Jan in the Provincial Assembly stated that whereas previously a bachelor’s degree of two years sufficed, it is now mandatory to hold a four-year degree. Consequently, the resolution advocated for an increase in the age limit for the PMS exams.

The resolution called for an increase in the age limit for female candidates taking the PMS exams, raising it from 30 to 35 years, as stipulated in the contract. Additionally, it proposed extending this relaxation to government employees, allowing them to qualify up to the age of 37.
