KP govt slashes roti price by Rs5

PESHAWAR: A day after the Punjab government reduced the price of roti, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has also slashed the price of roti by Rs5.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has fixed the price of 100 grams of bread (roti) at Rs15.

Additionally, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has fixed the price of 200 grams of roti at Rs30  on the directive of the chief minister.

KP Minister of Food Zahoor Shah said that the decision aims to provide relief to the public.

He said that the KP government will continue to take steps for the welfare of the people.

This decision comes as part of efforts to address food affordability and ensure access to essential items for the growing population.
