KP MDCAT exams on Nov 26

PESHAWAR: The provincial government has announced a schedule for the re-conduction of the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT 2023) following allegations of extensive cheating in the previous exams.

The re-exams are set to take place on November 26, with strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in place to ensure the integrity of the test for admission in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Medical and Dental colleges.

In the previous month, authorities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa uncovered a cheating scheme during the MD CAT test. Numerous students were caught red-handed using Bluetooth devices to facilitate cheating and were subsequently arrested. This incident has led to the decision to re-conduct the MDCAT to maintain the fairness and credibility of the admission process for medical and dental colleges in the region.
