KP rains kill at least 11 in last 24 Hours: PDMA

PESHAWAR: At least 11 people have died due to heavy rains in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), according to a Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) report released on Sunday.
The rains have caused partial damage to 11 homes and completely destroyed 5 others.
According to the report, since July 1st, 53 people have died and 89 have been injured due to the rainfall. In response to the severe flooding, an emergency has been declared in Upper Chitral.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicts more rain with strong, gusty winds, and thundershowers all across the country for Sunday.
Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Potohar region, Kashmir, Sindh, Balochistan, and Gilgit-Baltistan are all likely to get rainy weather on Sunday.
