Saudi Arabia offers fully funded scholarship for Pakistanis

WEB DESK: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) has announced a significant initiative, offering 700 fully funded scholarships to Pakistani students.

This programme aims to support Pakistani students in pursuing higher education at Saudi Arabia’s top 25 universities.

The expansion builds on an existing scholarship programme, increasing the number of scholarships from 600 to 700.

The scholarships, covering academic levels such as diploma, bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD programmes, are open to Pakistani students in both Pakistan and those legally residing in Saudi Arabia.

Applications can be submitted through the ‘Study in Saudi Arabia’ online portal, a platform provided by participating universities.

Notably, 75 percent of the scholarships will be awarded to students in Pakistan, with the remaining 25 percent allocated to Pakistani students residing in Saudi Arabia.

To ensure widespread awareness, the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan has encouraged school principals to share scholarship details with senior students, making information accessible on school notice boards and gates.

This initiative reflects Saudi Arabia’s commitment to education and strengthens the friendly ties between Pakistan and the Kingdom.

It provides a unique opportunity for Pakistani students to access high-quality education in Saudi Arabia, fostering stronger educational and cultural connections between the two nations.
