LAHORE: The first phase of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce elections concluded late on Monday, with a total of 2,432 voters having cast their ballots.

Out of the 4,015 registered voters in the corporate sector, the counting of the votes has now been completed.

The election commission officially announced the final panel results for the corporate sector election. The Piaf Pioneers Progressive Alliance emerged as the winner, securing 958, which gives them a clear lead of 268 votes over their nearest competitors.

Supporters of the Pakistan Industrial and Traders Associations Front (PIAF)-Pioneers Progressive Alliance celebrated their victory as the results were revealed. The founder of the PIAF is projected to receive 690 panel votes.

As the counting of 747 split votes continues, the final tallies will further clarify the overall standings in the elections.
