Lahore DHA accident phase 7: accused teen admits drifting, overspeeding

LAHORE: The teenager accused in the Lahore Defence Housing Authority (DHA) phase 7 accident, resulting in the tragic death of six people, has admitted to driving the car at high speed and engaging in drifting activities.

According to the police, the accused, Afnan Shafqat, confessed during interrogation to frequently driving the car at high speeds.

In the course of the police investigation, Afnan Shafqat said that he suffered injuries to his stomach/

The accused’s father, Malik Shafqat, has also provided a statement.

The police have conducted an age-determination OC fixation test on the accused teen.

Subsequent to this, the police have scheduled polygraphic and photogrammetric tests for November 29. Afnan Shafqat is set to appear in court again on November 27.
