Lahore district admin announces public holiday tomorrow

LAHORE: A public holiday has been declared in Lahore for Tuesday, in connection with the President’s visit to Iran. The provincial government issued a notification officially declaring April 22nd as a public holiday.

According to the notification, the holiday will only apply to the Lahore district, while offices attached to the Punjab Civil Secretariat will not observe the holiday.

Earlier commissioner Karachi on declared a public holiday for Tuesday, April 23rd, in Karachi, due to the visit of foreign dignitaries to the city.

Consequently, all private and government offices, along with educational institutions within Karachi Division, will remain closed tomorrow.
