Lahore gets light rain, thunderstorms

LAHORE: On Monday, several areas of Lahore encountered thunderstorms along with light rainfall, particularly around Gulberg, Garden Town, Liaqatabad, Gulshan Ravi, Dholanwal, and Sheranwala Gate.

Commissioner Lahore has directed WASA Lahore to stay vigilant. All personnel and equipment should be on high alert, as per MD WASA Ghaffar Ahmad’s instructions. Generators are to be kept ready and operational. MD WASA’s officers have been briefed accordingly.
