LAHORE: Punjab’s Chief Minister (CM), Mohsin Naqvi, inaugurated the Lahore Ring Road Southern Loop-3 Project on Thursday, marking a significant achievement in infrastructure development.
Completed in a record 130 days, well ahead of the initially estimated two years, the project covers 8km and includes the construction of two interchanges and eight bridges, with a total cost of Rs16.50 billion.
Addressing the audience during the inaugural ceremony, CM Naqvi emphasised the practical aspects of the project. He stated that the Controlled Access Corridor Bund Road Project, a crucial part of the initiative, would be open to traffic on Friday.
The chief minister expressed confidence that the project would play a crucial role in easing traffic congestion in Lahore, making travel more convenient for residents.
The completion of the Lahore Ring Road Southern Loop-3 Project ahead of schedule reflects the efficiency and commitment of the government to deliver essential infrastructure projects.
