Lahore Sunday smog lockdown: Mall road reopened for traffic

LAHORE: Mall road Lahore has been reopened to general traffic at 5 PM after being closed from 9AM to 4PM on Sunday, November 26. During the closure, only bicycles were permitted on the road, a measure aimed at mitigating the impact of smog.

Air Quality Concerns Persist:
Despite these efforts, air quality in Lahore, Pakistan, remained poor on Sunday, November 26, 2023. The Air Quality Index (AQI) in the city reached a hazardous level of 502 at the Pakistan Engineering Services Office. High AQI levels were also recorded in other parts of the city:
