LDA seals multiple properties in Lahore for violating parking space regulations

LAHORE: Traffic Engineering & Transportation Planning Agency (TEPA) and the Town Planning Wing of Lahore Development Authority (LDA) conducted a collaborative operation on Tuesday in the vicinity of Abdul Haq Road, Johar Town.
The joint teams took action by sealing several properties and removing encroachments.
Seven properties were sealed due to encroachments on the parking space along Abdul Haq Road. Encroachments were successfully cleared from various shops established along Abdul Haq Road in Johar Town, Lahore.
In a specific incident, the stairs built in the basement of a pharmacy were demolished, and the area was subsequently sealed.
Additionally, the store and office located in the parking area in the basement of Meditron Plaza were sealed.
Forks and Knife Restaurant faced closure for encroachments in the setback parking area, and similar actions were taken against encroachments in the parking area and basement of a renowned brand’s establishment.
Encroachments in the closed basement of a grocery store were effectively removed, the parking area was cleared, and the office was sealed.
Furthermore, a pizza outlet faced closure for violating parking rules. Notably, prior to the operation, these properties had received several notices urging corrective measures.
