Liam Payne funeral: Former One Direction members pay final respects

AMERSHAM: Funeral for Britain singer Liam Payne was held on Wednesday, drawing many celebrities, family and friends, including former One Direction members.
Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson were seen in attendance. Payne’s ex-partner and former “Girls Aloud” member, Cheryl, was also attended the funeral holding the couple’s son, Bear.

Other mourners included Girls Aloud members, Nicola Roberts and Kimberly Walsh, along with Payne’s girlfriend, Kate Cassidy.
The service took place in Amersham, located in Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom (UK).
Payne was found dead after having fallen from a hotel room balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina on October 16. He was aged 31 at the time of his passing.
Local Argentinian prosecutors immediately launched an investigation, with three people charged with the singer’s death so far.
The British singer rose to fame as part of the boy band, One Direction in 2010. It was formed on the X Factor by the music mogul, Simon Cowell.
Payne along with Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson were grouped together to form One Direction. The group would go on to become one of most successful boy bands in history.
One Direction has sold over 70 million records to date, with several hit singles and albums in the short, six years it existed before disbandment.
During the funeral, a horse-drawn carriage carried Payne’s casket. Flowers adorned the casket, with messages reading “son” and “daddy” written on it.
Liam Payne funeral was the first time in almost eight years that all former One Direction members reunited since the band disbanded in 2016.

Payne is survived by his parents, two sisters and a son.
Fans of the singer also left tributes for Payne at different location, including flowers and messages.
