Liam Payne hotel room photos paints grim picture of possible drug use

BUENOS AIRES: Photos from the hotel room of Liam Payne, who died in Buenos Aires, Argentina, surfaced online, depicting a grim scene.

The former member of One Direction was found dead after reportedly falling from the balcony of his third-floor hotel room at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel.

Local media in Argentina circulated photographs showing Liam’s deluxe suite in complete disarray. Among the scattered items were a broken television, remnants of candles and various personal effects, including a Dove soap container and matches.

Among the photos from Liam Payne hotel room, a burned tin can top and a lighter were also found, suggesting concerns of possible drug use.

As per reports, a powdery substance suspected to be cocaine was also discovered in Liam’s suite.

The discovery of aluminum foil and other paraphernalia further support claims of possible drug use. To compound matters, burn marks were also found in the bathtub, painting a very grim, very disturbing image of Liam Payne’s last moments.

Eyewitness account  reveal hearing loud noises coming from Liam Payne’s hotel room, including those resembling heavy lifting or banging.

More disturbingly, one room occupant recounted hearing a “really loud, violent scream” just before Liam fell.

Emergency services were dispatched to the location shortly after 5 pm local time on Tuesday, following an urgent call to authorities by the hotel’s receptionist.

The receptionist reportedly expressed concerns for the former One Direction member’s well=being. The receptionist reportedly told the police the British singer was “on drugs and alcohol” while  displaying strange behaviour.

Despite the authorities reaching the accident scene quickly,  Liam was already unresponsive and was pronounced dead on the scene.

Argentinian National Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor’s Office no. 16 is currently investigating Payne’s death, with officials in particular, probing whether the fall was incidental or intentional.
