Louder Than Life 2026 has unveiled a stacked line-up, with My Chemical Romance, Iron Maiden, Tool and Limp Bizkit set to headline the four-day rock festival.
More than 200 bands will perform at this year’s event, scheduled to run from September 17 to 20 at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville.
The festival will open with Iron Maiden, Pantera and Megadeth topping the bill on the first night. My Chemical Romance, Pierce The Veil and A Day to Remember will lead Friday’s line-up, while Limp Bizkit headline Saturday. Tool will close the event on the final night.
Other acts confirmed across the weekend include Alice Cooper, The Prodigy, BABYMETAL, Danzig, Rise Against, Ice Nine Kills, The Mars Volta, Mastodon, The Used, Coheed and Cambria, Taking Back Sunday, Killswitch Engage, Anthrax and Ministry.
This year’s edition will also feature several anniversary performances. Jimmy Eat World will mark 25 years of ‘Bleed American’, Sleeping With Sirens will celebrate 15 years of ‘Let’s Cheer To This’, and Alien Ant Farm will commemorate 25 years of ‘ANThology’.
Promoter Danny Wimmer said the festival aims to build on last year’s record-breaking turnout.
“Last year, we took over Kentucky Kingdom and broke rock festival records. This year, we’re back to deliver the ultimate rock escape,” he said in a statement reported by Billboard.
Festivalgoers will also receive free access to amusement rides inside Kentucky Kingdom, which will be open exclusively to ticket holders.
Iron Maiden are already scheduled to play a major UK show at Knebworth this summer, while My Chemical Romance continue their extensive 2026 touring plans.
Last year’s Louder Than Life headliners included Bring Me The Horizon, Sleep Token, Deftones, Slayer, Avenged Sevenfold, Spiritbox, Knocked Loose and Lamb of God.
