Major among two martyred in Miransha: ISPR

ISLAMABAD: A major and a soldier embraced martyrdom during an exchange of fire in Miranshah in North Waziristan in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) security forces conducted intelligence-base operation in Miranshah and a firefight ensued between security forces and terrorists.

As a result, Major Aamir Aziz and Soldier Muhammad Arif embraced Shahadat.

According to the ISPR, one terrorist was killed, and another was wounded in the exchange of fire.

The operation is ongoing in the region as part of efforts to eradicate potential terrorists, the ISPR said.
