Man arrested in Karachi for allegedly disposing of wife’s body

KARACHI: A man in Karachi was arrested for allegedly disposing off his dead wife’s body in body in a water drum

The suspect, identified as Babu and a resident of Chanesar Goth, was caught red-handed attempting to conceal the body in a water drum in Allah Wala Town.

Babu, who resided with his wife and four children, stands accused of ending his wife’s life by suffocation with a pillow, an act believed to have occurred three days before his arrest

While investigations are ongoing, police have not ruled out the possibility of this being an honour-related crime.

The deceased woman’s remains have been transported to Jinnah Hospital for further examination, while the suspect remains in custody awaiting legal proceedings.
