Man United’s Dalot hopes to clinch third straight win after fan’s 377-day haircut vow

ISLAMABAD: The Manchester United’s defender Diogo Dalot said hoping of the team to give the United’s fan a haircut who said is waiting for the club to win five games in the ongoing Premier League 2025-26 session.

Earlier, the Manchester United gained a commanding 2-1 crushing win over Liverpool, who lost two consecutive clashes for the first time since 2014 after, with their first loss happened against Chelsea (1-2) on Oct 4, and the second against the Manchester United on October 19, 2025.

After winning the match against the Liverpool, the United’s fan said in a video posted to his social media account on Instagram, “It’s day 377 of not cutting my hair until Manchester United win 5 in a row!”

The following day too, the same fan also took to his United Strand account on TikTok vowing in a short video clip while referring to the same encouraging fun.

“Today is 379 of not cutting my hair until Man United win five games in a row away to Liverpool today [and] a win here could change everything.”

Referring to the Man United as his most favourit team, the fan also wrote in his Instagram post that the team have been a big part of his entire life, adding, “of course I know this challenge has just been my attempt to spread some laughs in slightly dark times, but this means a lot to me and childhood me.”

To this point, he encouraged the United that “COME ON UNITED!! 2 DOWN, 3 TO GO!”

In response, Man United’s Diogo Dalot said the team were determined to gain a commanding victory over the Briton against whom the Man United will be playing on coming Saturday.

The Man United have gained two pressing victories in the ongoing Premier League, with the first on October 5 against the Aston Villa (3-1), while the second on October 19 against the Liverpool (2-1).

Meanwhile, the Reds now eye their third straight win as they prepare to face Brighton this Saturday.
