Mann kills wife, seven children in Muzaffargarh

MUZAFFARGARH: A man tragically ended the lives of his wife and seven children using a grass-cutting cleaver on Thursday.

The event, suspected to be fueled by poverty and unemployment, occurred in the Mud Wala area under the jurisdiction of the Saddar Police Station in Alipur district of Muzaffargarh.

The individual responsible, whose identity remains undisclosed, later turned himself in to the authorities following the tragic event. Punjab’s Chief Minister, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, conveyed her deepest sympathies regarding the heartbreaking incident.

She instructed the Inspector General of Punjab Police to promptly gather a detailed report on the tragedy.
