WEB DESK: The spokesperson for the Punjab government, Amir Mir, has officially announced that applications for the Maskan-e-Ravi project can now be conveniently submitted online.

Interested individuals can access the application form on the Ravi Urban Development Authority’s (RUDA) website at ruda.gov.pk.

Emphasising the significant interest from journalists, Mir disclosed that numerous applications have already been received for this residential project, covering an expansive 200 acres of land in Lahore.

For journalists seeking to submit their applications online, a visit to the RUDA website is imperative.

Mir clarified that the RUDA will bear the responsibility for developing this residential project, with a commitment to allocate 3,300 plots specifically for journalists across Punjab.

The payment of installments for these plots is structured over a 10-year period, and the allotment process will be conducted through a transparent balloting system.

In terms of deadlines, Mir underscored that the last date for submitting the application form is set for February 6.

The final balloting to determine the allotment of plots is scheduled to take place on February 12.

This initiative aims to streamline the application process and provide clarity for journalists interested in becoming beneficiaries of the Maskan-e-Ravi project.
