Matric annual exam fees increased by Punjab Board

WEB DESK: All nine examination boards in Punjab have implemented a fee hike for the upcoming annual examinations, including matric annual examinations. 

As per the notification released by the examination boards, there is a notable increase in the matric exam fee, which has surged from Rs550 to Rs700.

This upward adjustment is coupled with supplementary charges, including contributions to the development fund, scholarship fund, and sports funds, along with an augmented processing fee for the admission form.

According to the notification, students are now obligated to contribute Rs200 towards the development fund, Rs80 for the scholarship fund, Rs100 for the sports fee, and Rs530 for the processing fee, in addition to the initial exam fee.

Furthermore, the admission form fee has been revised to Rs100.
