MBBS and BDS application deadline extended across Punjab

ISLAMABAD: The University of Health Sciences (UHS) has extended the deadline for online applications to medical and dental colleges across Punjab, giving aspiring students more time to apply.

Candidates seeking admission to public sector medical colleges can now submit their applications until November 30, while the last date for private medical colleges has been extended to December 15.

The decision came during a meeting of the Provincial Admission Committee, chaired by Secretary Specialised Healthcare and Medical Education Azmat Mahmood, with vice-chancellors of various public medical universities in attendance.

For public dental colleges, applications can now be submitted until December 31, and students applying for private dental colleges have until January 15, 2026, to complete their online submissions.

Previously, the last date for submitting applications was November 21. UHS said the extension aims to facilitate students and ensure maximum participation, with the decision taken unanimously by the committee to provide more candidates the opportunity to apply.
