KPK MDCAT cheating

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has introduced a comprehensive plan and strict regulations aimed at combating cheating during the Medical and Dental College Admission Test  (MDCAT) 2023 examination.

The measures are implemented to ensure the integrity of this crucial medical entrance test scheduled for November 26.

Examination centers have been established in 11 districts, including Peshawar, DI Khan, Kohat, Mardan, Lower Dir, Swat, and Abbottabad, ensuring accessibility for test-takers.

Peshawar Police is supervising the printing and handling of test materials, and Khyber Medical University will issue duty staff details.

The police will closely monitor the delivery of exam materials and collaborate with the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) for added security measures, including walk-through gates.

To further enhance security, female police officers will be stationed in the examination halls, and mobile tower services will be suspended near exam centers during the test hours.

KP govt to set up committee to implement MDCAT test action plan

Administrative officials from various departments will not be involved in examination matters to maintain impartiality, as the police will solely focus on security.

CCTV surveillance will be in place at all examination centers to monitor proceedings, while the use of mobile phones will be strictly prohibited.

These stringent measures reflect the government’s commitment to preserving the fairness and integrity of the MDCAT examination and preventing cheating, ensuring an even playing field for all test-takers.
