ISLAMABAD: In a significant development, authorities have sealed Vanguard Institute of Medical and Sciences in Islamabad for allegedly distributing fake degrees to paramedical staff.
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) confirmed the closure of the college, accompanied by the registration of a case against the management and employees.
Intensified raids are underway to apprehend the accused individuals involved in this fraudulent operation.
According to the FIA spokesperson, the investigation uncovered a disturbing collusion between the college administration and the Pakistan Nursing and Midwifery Council, resulting in the issuance of fake degrees.
Shockingly, numerous nurses were found working in hospitals across the region with these fake college credentials.
The report exposes even more alarming details, revealing the recovery of a fake Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) purportedly linked to PIMS Hospital.
Additionally, the faculty list provided by the college administration has been exposed as falsified, raising serious questions about the integrity of the educational institution.
This revelation has sparked concerns about the potential compromise of healthcare standards and the credibility of medical qualifications.
