Megan Fox has fired back at a bizarre online conspiracy theory claiming she has been replaced by a “clone” after a new set of Instagram photos sparked viral speculation.

The Transformers star returned to Instagram on March 3 with a series of sultry images posing in a cropped black T-shirt, telling fans on her Story: “I’m alive. New pics just dropped.”

But the post quickly drew attention for an unexpected reason.

One social media user suggested the photos did not actually show the real Fox, commenting: “This isn’t Megan. This is a clone.”

Fox wasted no time shutting the theory down.

“B—h a clone could never,” she replied, according to screenshots shared online.

The viral post also caught the attention of Fox’s former partner, musician Machine Gun Kelly, who left a playful comment on the photos.

“Stoked I have your phone number,” he wrote.

Fox and the musician, whose real name is Colson Baker, share a daughter named Saga Blade. The child was born three months after the couple ended their relationship in September 2024.

Despite their split, Machine Gun Kelly has previously spoken positively about their relationship and co-parenting.

“It truly was an epic story of love, pain and a lot of magic,” he said during an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show in September 2025.

“I had it with a person who is the greatest partner to have had a child with.”

Fox is also a mother to three sons, Noah, Bodhi and Journey, whom she shares with her former husband, actor Brian Austin Green.

Speaking previously about expanding her family, the actor said her children were excited about welcoming another sibling.

“The kids are all super excited for another addition to the family,” she said ahead of Saga’s birth.
