Met Office forecasts new rain spell

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast a new spell of rain and snowfall from October 14 to October 18th in various regions of the country.

According to the PMD, a new spell of rain is expected in various regions of the country from October 14 to 18, while Islamabad is expected to witness rainfall from Friday.

The Met Office said that most regions of the country remained dry on Thursday.

According to the Met Office, strong winds and thunderstorms with rain are expected in different regions of the country during the evening and night hours of Friday. These regions include Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, the Pothohar region, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir.

Weather turns pleasant in Islamabad after rain

According to the PMD, strong winds and thunderstorms with rainfall and snowfall in the mountains are expected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Islamabad, Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan, Upper Sindh, and northeastern Baluchistan from October 14 to October 18.

During this period, some areas may also experience hailstorms and heavy rainfall, the PMD said.
