Met Office predicts rain for Islamabad, Rawalpindi

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (Met Office) has forecast light rain in Islamabad and Rawalpindi on Monday, which will give much needed respite to the residents of the twin cities who have been coping with different weather related ailments as it has not rained for the last two months.
The Met Office said that cloudy conditions are expected in most parts of the country, with the likelihood of rain and snowfall in the mountainous regions of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Additionally, fog is expected to envelop the plains of Punjab and upper Sindh on Monday.

Separately, Murree and its picturesque hill stations are on the brink of welcoming the season’s first snowfall after a year of eager anticipation, according to the latest weather forecast.
