ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Federal Ministry of Religious Affairs on Sunday strongly rejected reports claiming that Hajj flights had been suspended, calling the circulating information baseless.
According to the ministry’s spokesperson, preparations for the 2026 Hajj operation are continuing as planned and in accordance with the global situation. The spokesperson clarified that no decision has been made to suspend Hajj flights and urged prospective pilgrims not to pay attention to misinformation circulating on social media.
The ministry said the complete Hajj flight schedule will be announced soon after Eid-ul-Fitr. Officials are currently working on logistical arrangements, including accommodation for Pakistani pilgrims in Makkah and Madinah.
Authorities also expressed confidence that all arrangements for Hajj 2026 will be finalised in time. Pilgrims have also been advised to rely only on official updates issued through the government website and the Pak Hajj mobile app.
