Eid-ul-Fitr is being celebrated with great religious fervor and joy across many parts of the world today, including Saudi Arabia, other Gulf countries, the United States, and Australia, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
In Makkah, millions of worshippers gathered at the Grand Mosque for Eid prayers, led by Sheikh Osama Hayat. The sacred site witnessed deeply spiritual scenes as devotees offered prayers in large numbers. In Dubai, Eid prayers were held at mosques and open grounds across the city, drawing huge crowds, including families, women, and children, who later exchanged warm greetings and embraced the festive spirit together.
Across the Gulf region, similar scenes of unity and celebration were observed as communities came together for congregational prayers and festivities.
Meanwhile, several countries, including India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Pakistan, will celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr tomorrow, following the sighting of the moon according to their local calendars.
In Australia, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese joined worshippers at a mosque in Sydney, reflecting the diverse and inclusive celebrations taking place around the world.
