PCB chairman meets under-training national team in Kakul

WEB DESK: On Monday, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi held a meeting with the members of the national men’s team, who are presently undergoing training at the Pakistan Army facility in Kakul.

The training camp, consisting of 29 players, commenced on March 25 and is scheduled to conclude on April 8. Naqvi expressed gratitude to the Army for hosting the camp and commended the players for their commitment to training at the Army School of Physical Training (ASPT).

“I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the Pakistan Army for their support to our cricketers. Their collaboration will not only enhance the fitness levels of our players but will also make them more disciplined in future,” said Naqvi.

“This camp will surely put the players in good stead before undertaking a challenging journey leading to a global tournament in the USA and West Indies,” he added.

“The PCB remains dedicated to providing comprehensive support to its players, equipping them with the necessary tools and resources to excel at the international level.”

The Chairman also used the occasion to engage directly with the players, personally praising them for their unwavering dedication and enthusiastic involvement in the camp. He expressed contentment with the players’ high levels of motivation and commitment to improving their fitness, noting their enthusiasm for enhancing their physical capabilities.
