Mother, eight children perish in Abbottabad house fire

ABBOTTABAD: A mother and eight children died in a tragic house fire in the Tahari village in Abbottabad on Sunday.

The fire, which was caused by a short circuit, engulfed the crude house and caused the roof to collapse, trapping the family members inside.

Rescue officials arrived at the scene and retrieved the bodies from the rubble. They confirmed that the victims were all from the same family.

The incident has shocked the local community, who expressed their condolences and grief over the loss of lives.

The authorities have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the fire.

Some of the victims were were identified as the wife of Zakir, his four daughters and four sons, including Hashim, Qasim, Hasan, and Sufyan.
