Chasing a target of 167, the Sultans comfortably reached the total with 15 balls to spare, thanks to a strong batting display led by Steve Smith and supported by Shan Masood.

The run chase got off to a flying start as Sahibzada Farhan and Smith put together a rapid 71-run opening stand in just five overs. Farhan played an explosive knock of 32 off 14 balls before being dismissed by Alzarri Joseph. Shortly after, Josh Philippe fell for 18, leaving the Sultans at 96-2 in eight overs.
