DHAKA: Pakistan levelled the three-match ODI series with a commanding 128-run win over Bangladesh in the rain-shortened second match in Dhaka.

After weather interruptions, Bangladesh were set a revised target of 243 in 32 overs, but the hosts collapsed and were bowled out for 114 in reply.

Pakistan were led by a fine 75 from Muaz Sadaqat, while Salman Ali Agha contributed 64 and Mohammad Rizwan added 44 to help build a competitive total.

Sahibzada Farhan made 31, while Faheem Ashraf scored 14 and Abdul Samad 11. Hussain Talat chipped in with 9, Shamil Hussain scored 6, and captain Shaheen Shah Afridi managed 3. Haris Rauf and Mohammad Wasim added 2 and 1 respectively.

For Bangladesh, Rishad Hossain was the most successful bowler with three wickets.

In the chase, Litton Das top-scored with 45, but Bangladesh never recovered after early wickets. Towhid Hridoy made 28, Afif Hossain 14, and Saif Hassan 12.

Taskin Ahmed scored 5, Mustafizur Rahman 4, Rishad Hossain 2, while Mehidy Hasan and Tanzid Hasan made 1 each. Captain Najmul Hossain Shanto was dismissed for 0, while Nahid Rana remained not out on 3.

Pakistan’s bowlers dominated the innings, with Haris Rauf and Muaz Sadaqat taking three wickets each. Shaheen Afridi picked up two, while Mohammad Wasim and Faheem Ashraf claimed one apiece.
