Multan Sultans set 186-run target for Karachi Kings

MULTAN: In the third match of the ninth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), Multan Sultans, batting first, set a target of 186 runs for Karachi Kings to chase.

Playing at the Multan Stadium, the Multan Sultans team scored 185 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Reeza Hendricks remained unbeaten with 79 runs, hitting 3 sixes and 7 fours.

Having won the toss, Karachi Kings’ captain, Shaan Masood, invited Multan Sultans to bat first.

David Malan played an innings of 52 runs, while Multan Sultans captain, Mohammad Rizwan, scored 11 runs before being caught behind, and Khushdil Shah remained not out with 28 runs.

Earlier in the ninth edition of the Pakistan Super League, Quetta Gladiators defeated Peshawar Zalmi by 16 runs.

From the side of Peshawar Zalmi, Babar Azam scored 68 and Saim Ayub scored 42 runs, while Tom Kohler-Cadmore contributed 18 runs and Romaine Powell added 17 runs.
