Murree: crackdown on illegal construction resumed

MURREE: The district administration of Murree has resumed its campaign against unauthorised construction and encroachments, as per the orders of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz.

Heavy machinery was employed in Kashmiri Bazaar on Gol Road, to carry out the operation under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Captain (R) Qasim Aijaz.

During the operation, some sections of structures that were still under construction on the aforementioned road were demolished.

The operation is being carried out by officials of Solid Waste Management (SWM), Municipal Corporation (MC) officials and another pertinent department.

The district government has placed strict limitations on bringing building supplies into Murree. Those who interfere with the operation during the crackdown will face legal consequences.
