NAB summons Bushra Bibi again

LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has summoned Bushra Bibi, the wife of former prime minister Imran Khan, to appear before the anti-graft watchdog in the Al-Qadir Trust case.

The NAB notice, which was delivered to Bushra Bibi at her Zaman Park residence, has asked the former first lady to appear before the anti-corruption watchdog in Lahore at 11 am  on Tuesday along with any male member of her family.

Previously, Bushra Bibi was granted protective bail by the Lahore High Court till May 23 against a surety bond of Rs0.5 million.

The NAB said that  Bushra Bibi was instructed to appear before the anti-corruption body on June 1 and June 7, but she did not appear in the court despite repeated summons.
