Nawaz promises Orange Line Metro Train for Faisalabad

FAISALABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif has vowed to launch the Orange Line Metro Train project in Faisalabad if his party wins the upcoming elections.
Speaking at an election rally in Faisalabad, he thanked the people for their love and support. He said that his brother Shehbaz Sharif had only given them a metro bus, but he would give them a metro train if he came to power.
He said that he would ensure employment for every citizen of Faisalabad. He criticized the PTI for failing to deliver on their promise of creating 10 million jobs. He asked Shehbaz Sharif to make Faisalabad free of unemployment in the next five years.
He said that Faisalabad was surrounded by motorways on both sides. He asked the people how many more motorways they wanted. He said that he would build a motorway that would pass through the city.
The PML-N chief said that he knew how to keep his word. He praised the local leaders of PML-N, including Chaudhry Sher Ali, Talal Chaudhry and Rana Sanaullah.
He said that Rana Sanaullah was a remarkable and loyal friend. He said that they were all his old comrades. He said that the youth was with the PML-N, not with the PTI.
Nawaz said that the real youth was with the PML-N, not with the mommy-daddy ones. He said that he would restore the era when bread was available for Rs4 , sugar for Rs50 per kg and lentils, petrol and flour were cheap.
He said that while the PTI was staging protests, he was ending load-shedding and terrorism. He said that in his time, gold was Rs50,000 per tola, and motorways and metro buses were being constructed.
He said that if his government had not been ousted, there would be no one unemployed.
Nawaz said that he was removed for not taking salary from his son, but he would not let anyone be jobless. Nawaz congratulated the people for their victory on February 8.
The PML-N chief said that he was not like those who claimed they would build 5 million houses but gave none. He said that he was not like those who said they would give one 10 million jobs but gave none. He said that he did what he promised.
Maryam Nawaz praises PML-N’s rally and leaders in Faisalabad
PML-N Vice-President and chief organiser Maryam Nawaz lauded the massive turnout of the party’s supporters in Faisalabad. She said that the PML-N was competing with itself in the election campaign. She said that she had never seen such enthusiasm before.
She appreciated the role of Rana Sanaullah, the party’s president in Punjab, who was given the title of Hakeem (doctor) by the people in the last election. She said that Rana Sanaullah had cured the ills.
She saluted the loyalty of Talal Chaudhry, who stood by Rana Sanaullah when he was arrested in a fabricated case of heroin. She said that Rana Sanaullah had shown his courage by wearing a lion mask in the court’s corridor. She said that Rana Sanaullah had declared that he was with Nawaz Sharif 100%.
She said that Faisalabad’s development was linked to Pakistan’s development. She said that if Faisalabad’s industry flourished, then Pakistan’s industry would flourish. She said that the PML-N did not indulge in mudslinging or abuse. She said that the PML-N did not accuse anyone of being a thief. She said that the PML-N competed on the basis of service and performance.
