Nawaz Sharif books flight to return home

ISLAMABAD: Former Pakistani Prime Minister and PML-N Leader Nawaz Sharif has secured a flight ticket with Etihad Airways for his anticipated return to Pakistan.

As per the itinerary, Nawaz Sharif, who is 73 years of age, is scheduled to arrive at Abu Dhabi International Airport from London on October 21, from where he will embark on the final leg of his journey to Pakistan.

Sources reveal that Nawaz Sharif’s booking is for Etihad Airways flight 243, which is set to touch down at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport at 6:25 PM local time.

Additionally, it has been reported that Nawaz Sharif will be accompanied by his staff and advisers.

Furthermore, a substantial number of leaders from the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) have secured seats in the economy class on the same flight.

A significant contingent of PML-N leaders from Pakistan is expected to gather at Abu Dhabi Airport to extend a warm welcome to Nawaz Sharif upon his arrival.
