Nawaz Sharif not coming under any deal, says Rana Sanaullah

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Rana Sanaullah firmly asserted that Nawaz Sharif has not struck any deal, and he will not return to Pakistan under any such arrangement. Sanaullah emphasized that Nawaz Sharif is prepared to face the legal charges against him.

Speaking at a press conference in Lahore, the former interior minister Rana Sanaullah stated, “Nawaz Sharif has not entered into any deal and will not return under any deal. Whenever Pakistan has faced challenging times, Nawaz Sharif has stepped forward to provide guidance. Pakistan requires an experienced leader to navigate the nation out of its difficulties.”

Sanaullah pointed out that the nation is grappling with a crisis-like situation due to various factors, but Nawaz Sharif is returning to Pakistan for the benefit of the people. He mentioned that Nawaz Sharif will unveil the PMLN party manifesto during a gathering, where he will also express his views on his narrative and policies.

“He is coming home on October 21. There will be a reception and address at Minar-e-Pakistan, and people from all over the country will converge in Lahore to welcome Nawaz Sharif,” Sanaullah added.

Nawaz Sharif books flight to return home

The former minister continued to state that on October 21, Nawaz Sharif will chart a path from hope to belief.

He is scheduled to arrive in Lahore at 5:30 pm on October 21, with his legal team having made security preparations. Nawaz Sharif intends to surrender before the court, asserting his innocence and seeking relief, Sanaullah said.

Rana Sanaullah also discussed the significance of Nawaz Sharif’s leadership during pivotal moments in Pakistan’s history, such as the acquisition of nuclear power and the development of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

Furthermore, Sanaullah highlighted that the PML-N’s stance on electoral constituencies and denied any retreat from their political narrative. He asserted that the party does not seek to imprison anyone, and early elections were discussed during a meeting with the Election Commission.

In conclusion, Sanaullah praised former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for averting a national default, earning the appreciation of the entire nation.
